No limitations, go crazy!
Up to 3 entries per child allowed.
Moms and Dads, feel free to help the littles if they need you, but try to let them create whatever they envision on their own as much as possible.

we prefer originals are sent for the gallery showing so that everyone gets a chance to see them in person, but if you're unable to mail your art we will accept high resolution scans.

Artist ages 7-12 will take on The Creative Challenge, an inspiring two round competition that gives them the opportunity to shine brighter!
Theme: "The Past"
Create a piece that is inspired by anything in history that moves you. From dinosaurs to historical figures, anything old is fair game!

Round 1: June 25th
All of the submissions will be featured at our gallery showing on August 2nd and 3rd, but the top 10 ranked pieces by our panel of judges will move on to round 2!
All artwork must be received by June 19th

Artist ages 13-18 will also be participating in their own Creative Challenge which is a thrilling three round competition that gives them the opportunity to enhance their art as well as help establish a professional portfolio.

Create a piece of art based on the science of the universe. Whether biology, chemistry or astronomy as the source, we know you can summon a masterpiece from within!

Ten (10) semi-finalists will be chosen from each age category based on their Round 1 submissions. *Semi-finalists will be given a special art assignement to complete.*

Round 3: The Grand Finale - From the semi-finalist, three (3) finalists will be selected from each age category. These competitors will receive one last art assignment to determine who walks away with the first place prize!!!

Final Judging & Awards Ceremony: The Final judging will take place on August 3rd at the event finale. Contestants do not have to be present to win but are encouraged to do so if possible.
